GOOD FOOD. HAPPY PUPPY.

The puppy feeding guide.

A simple and complete guide to keep your puppy healthy, happy & strong.

1. How to prepare the food

  1. Grind. Grind the kibble into a fine powder. The poster describes the texture as similar to Cerelac.
  2. Soften. Add hot water and mix well until the food becomes soft.
  3. Cool. Allow the food to cool completely.
  4. Serve. Feed only when the food is cool or slightly lukewarm.

Use an appropriate complete puppy food. The texture comparison is not a recommendation to feed infant cereal. Prepare food as directed by your vet or food manufacturer.

2. Feeding schedule

The supplied poster shows three meals a day, with an eight-hour gap between each meal.

☀6:00 AMMorning
🌤2:00 PMAfternoon
☾10:00 PMNight

Feed at consistent times to support a routine.

This is the poster’s example schedule. Young puppies, especially toy breeds, may need more frequent meals. Ask your vet for an age- and weight-appropriate feeding plan and portion sizes.

3. Drinking water

💧
  • Always provide fresh, clean drinking water in a separate bowl.
  • Refill the water bowl several times a day.
  • Wash the water bowl daily to keep it clean.

4. Foods to avoid

Never feed your puppy these items from the supplied guide:

× Milk× Chocolate× Grapes & raisins× Onion & garlic× Cooked bones× Spicy, oily or salty foods× Biscuits & processed human snacks× Leftover human food× Sweets or foods containing xylitol

5. Feeding tips

  • Feed only the recommended puppy food.
  • The poster’s routine is 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, with an eight-hour gap between meals; confirm your puppy’s schedule with your vet.
  • Use clean food and water bowls.
  • Do not change the food suddenly.
  • If changing food is necessary, do it gradually over seven days, or as your vet advises.
  • Remove leftover food after 15–20 minutes.
  • The poster says to contact your breeder or veterinarian if food is refused for more than 24 hours or there is persistent vomiting or diarrhoea. For a young puppy, seek veterinary advice promptly when meals are missed or vomiting or diarrhoea occurs—do not wait 24 hours.
SAVE THEM. SHARE THEM. KEEP THEM HANDY.
